70s 'Guy Watson' Modernist Ring
£120.00Price
Vintage 1971 silver bark ring with a green 'Blue John stone' at the centre. The band of the ring is designed with a unique bark-like texture. The blue John stone, which is a rare variety of fluorite found only in the Castleton area of Derbyshire, England, is beautifully set in a silver bezel. The ring is marked PGW, indicating that it was made by the renowned British jewelry designer Peter Guy Watson. Watson was known for his modernist designs in London in the 60s and 70s, making this ring a true collector's item.
